I was on "E" this morning so I decided to put straight 100 octane in and do some test and tuning. So I put 5 gallons in and then bumped my timing up to 16 degrees and put 2 more psi of fuel in at static and DAMN
I love the feeling of response and best of all I love the fact that I am getting less det. then when I run 12 with 92
I have found my track setup on the fuel and timing side so now I just need to get to the track (two weeks away
) I only see 2 degrees being pulled out very sparingly and the tip in det. had been removed all together
I wish this sh*t didn't cost $3.75 a gallon. Well go get some race gas and try it, you'll agree that it is the best $20 spent yet

Ok, so do you think that larger injectors + water injection and 14 degrees timing is worth it?

Well lund, I don't know anything about water injection except I am not going to blow my money on it. I think the kits run like 5 bills and I can already run 13 degress just on 92 octane and street driving. Now that I can get my hands on the 100 octane stuff I will have no worries about (not that I did before) running 13 degrees on the street and then run straight 100 and 16 degrees at the track. The injectors are a must and I am just waiting for the last results from the testing to buy all my fuel system stuff. I especially like hoe the tip det. is removed with the high octane fuel
Hell, I would do nitrous and a BTM on my car before doing the water injection, we have the fuel taken care of and the heat *should (not confirmed) lower on both intake and exhaust sides plus we get around *40 (from what I have heard) ponies from a 25 shot

Yes 13 degrees and I am still running my stock injectors. I have my JR FPR set at 68 static with 92 octane and don't have any real problems with det. But I also think I have learned to "Drive" with the blower. I say this because I don't drive on boost that much unless I am racing or really getting on it. Keep the revs up and I don't experience det because I am already rich. I have noticed that I don't get det. when I race and this probably has something to do with the high throttle. It runs great and the J&S doesn't work too much
I do have injectors waiting to go in but I am still waiting on the results of the final fuel solution from JRCivic.

im running 19 degrees timing at 8 psi, on my d16z6 the water injection helps a lot, also copper head gasket 8-6 to 1 compression ,stock fuel pump and stock injectors for now...
